The defense is a senior-heavy group that plays well together and is ready to get the job done. Dion Williams (5-11, 185, Sr.), Cam Hayes (5-11, 180, Jr.), Noah Marley (6-2, 185, Sr.), and Corey Dean (5-11, 175, Sr.) will all four be patrolling the secondary and working to slow down the opponents passing game or stopping any runners that break loose. At the linebacker position will be Lucas Jones (6-0, 205, Sr.). Lucas enters his final high school football season ready to make an impact for his team. On the defensive front, Jaylen Pounds (5-11, 175, Sr.) will play defensive end and work to wreak havoc on opposing offenses. Moore has a tough schedule. They have two reigning state champions in Jenks and Bixby, while they also have two other 2021 playoff teams on the schedule. Lion’s assistant coaches this season will be Brandon Morris, Jeremy Stark, Charles Stover, Michael Clark, Glenn Perrett, Jason Paul, Jalen Adams, Mike Swart, Dylan Brayton, John Emerson, Chaz Bracci, and BJ Simms Jr.
