3 Questions with Julio Sandoval
VYPE: You’ve been called the unsung hero of this football team. What does that mean to you?
Sandoval: I think an unsung hero is someone who doesn’t need to yell or get mad at someone for the mistake they made. An unsung hero only needs motivation and relentless work ethic. An unsung hero is a person who doesn’t need to get recognized to put in extra work.
VYPE: What is your favorite memory as a student-athlete at Moore?
Sandoval: My favorite memory as a student-athlete is winning against Westmoore.
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island, who are three people you would want with you?
Sandoval: This is easy. I would want my dad because he has been a Marine for 20 years and has trained on survival skills. The second person would be my best friend Jacob, because no matter what we are going through he has the motivation to never stop or give up. Lastly, the third person would be one of my good friends Timothy, he knows everything about living in the wild, he knows how to make a fire with flint and steel, he also knows how to build a shelter.
