Rolling in the Fairways with Kaitlyn Lee – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: What are your personal goals this year and how is the season going?

Kaitlyn: My goals fluctuate for myself depending on what part of my game I need to work on. Overall, for my team and I, our goal is to play good at regionals and to enter each tournament with a positive mindset, regardless of the outcome. This season has been going good so far. I have been pretty consistent with my scores and am looking forward to keep improving.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Kaitlyn: The most fun I have had in the last year is most definitely this leadership camp I attended in June of last year. I was able to open my mind to other ideas and connect with many other leaders across the state!

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Kaitlyn: My favorite teacher would have to be either Ms. Worth or Mrs. Leiter. Ms. Worth is my English teacher from this year, and she is a teacher that really cares about her students and is wanting for them to succeed. She is also very understanding when it comes to school involvement and is able to show that sympathy towards her students. Mrs. Leiter was my leadership teacher from last year and she is a person that really wants the best for every person. She is one of the sweetest teachers and is willing to do whatever it takes to help make any students’ ideas come to light.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Kaitlyn: My favorite athletic memory is when I made my first birdie on a hole. This one hole just made my whole day, even if I played badly.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Kaitlyn: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Kelsy. She has really learned how to be a leader on the golf team and is always positive about her game, even if it’s her worst. She’s always smiling and has a great positive mindset.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Kaitlyn: Kelsy would have to be the best impression of my coach. She is always making jokes and loves to be sarcastic, but that is what makes it a fun environment.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Kaitlyn: If I had to pick a spot for a summer vacation, it would honestly be anywhere in the world. I love to travel and sightsee all the different historical places. I get to learn many things. I would have to take my best friend Haley. It is never a dull moment with her, and we always have the most fun when we are together. We just get each other!

VYPE: If we gave you 500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Kaitlyn: I would spend my 500 dollars on clothes or any accessories that I wanted. I love shopping and so I would just spoil myself with this money.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Kaitlyn: Thank you to my teammates and coaches that have shaped me into the player and teammate I am today. I also would like to thank my parents because they have dedicated a lot of their time to watch me during my tournaments, but also to support me through everything.
