Moore girls basketball player Kirsten Plunkett has been named a VYPE unsung hero for the 2021-22 season.
“Kirsten has been my team manager for four years; we would be lost without her.” – Head Coach Brent Hodges
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Plunkett: We’re all super close and have a great bond that most of us are friends even outside of basketball. So, they all mean a lot to me.
VYPE: When you hear the term unsung hero, what comes to mind?
Plunkett: Well, I’m not the one shooting the game winning shots, but helping behind the scenes is always fun. I love being there for every teammate and helping them throughout the season. I think of it as getting the backstage pass to every game!
VYPE: What grade are you in and what are your plans after you graduate?
Plunkett: I’m a senior this year and I plan to continue my education at the University of Oklahoma as a nursing major in hopes of becoming a Nurse Practitioner in aesthetics.
