9 Questions with Moore Softball Player Karlee Smith – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: Karlee, how is the softball team looking this season?

Smith: We had a rough start, but we are really coming together as a team and doing great things. 

VYPE: What grade are you in and how long have you played softball?

Smith: I am in 12th grade, I play left center, and I have played softball for 15 years.

VYPE: What teammate impresses you the most?

Smith: Ryann Phillips is a good leader, and she is always hype for everyone. She always keeps everyone laughing in the dugout and on the field.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

Smith: What I love about my teammates is how they push me to my best, and always pick me up when I am down.

VYPE: What’s your favorite memory as a player for MHS?

Smith: My favorite memory as a student-athlete at MHS is when I hit a grand slam against Southmoore in state and tied the game up.

VYPE: What makes playing for MHS special to you?

Smith: What I love about being a student-athlete at Moore High School is how much support we have.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?

Smith: When I graduate, I am continuing my athletic and academic career at Rogers State University on a softball scholarship. 

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Smith: In my free time I like to go to the lake with my friends.

VYPE: Any plans for the summer?
Smith: My plans for the summer are to play softball with my travel ball team and then go to Cancun for my senior trip.
